After a long day outdoors DeSmet Super Deluxe Inn & Stes is a glorious spot to spend a night or two, and swamps like Mallard Slough are fun to have a look at. Lakes are tremendous; Round Lake is a lake that's close to Twin Sloughs, and you're almost certainly into lakes, Lone Tree Lake is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime at Twin Sloughs arrives with high       temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's.
