You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Black Hills has to offer. A great spot to camp here at Twin Lakes is Redbank Spring Campground, and a wonderful close by hotel is Legion Lake Lodge VA. Twin Lakes gets very little rain; through the month of June you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Not far from Twin Lakes, you'll stumble       on Cameron Pond which is a scenic lake, and State Game Lodge VA is a brilliant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at White Tail Peak Campground. At Twin Lakes through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Twin Lakes temperatures descend to the 0's.
