For the period of the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Turtle Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Turtle Lake. While you're here at Turtle Lake, you could also stop by delightful Lake Tetonkaha, and Comfort Inn Brookings is a great place to get some rest. Do stop       at Johnson Lake right next door to Turtle Lake, it's a pretty lake; if you came for an overnight stay Arlington Beach Resort is a perfect site to camp. Turtle Lake is not far at all from Brookings. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Lynmar Resort and Campgrounds; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Brookings.
