Not far from Summit Reservoir, you'll locate Kennedy Number One Reservoir which is a picturesque lake, and Summit Dam is a scenic spot, positively worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn. Lakes are perfect; Richland Reservoir is a lake that's close       to Summit Reservoir. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Summit Reservoir reach the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Summit Reservoir temperatures sink to the 0's.
