All year is a great time in the Black Hills if you like the outdoors. Stockade Lake Dam is a stunning site in the neighborhood of Stockdale Lake, and Stockade Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. It is very dried up here at Stockdale Lake mostly; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest.       Some of the water close by flows, like Bismark Creek; there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Norbeck Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Near Stockdale Lake you stumble on a golf course called Rocky Knolls Golf Course, and going for a hike on the Cathedral Spires Trail is always a magnificent adventure. For the duration of the summertime at Stockdale Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Through the                  wintertime highs are generally in the 30's while Stockdale Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Any time is a magnificent time at Stockdale Lake if you like the outdoors. On a brilliant day at Stockdale Lake you can take a hike along the Paha Sapa Trail, and if you get bored of Stockdale Lake you could also go to nearby Bismark Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Black Hills. So many entertaining things to do here in the Black Hills, too perfect to be true. The peak of Custer Mountain can be seen from Stockdale Lake, and after a long day outdoors Blue Bell Lodge VA is a great location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Bismark Lake Campground is a magnificent place to camp, and Jewel Cave National Monument is a tremendous local destination.
