Stockade Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Rocky Knolls Golf Course; you can go for a hike on the Cathedral Spires Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. A pretty lake like Bismark Lake close to Stockade Lake is a glorious spot to visit; why not camp at Bismark Lake Campground since you're here at Stockade Lake.

| | Custer Mountain is a peak you can make out from Stockade Lake, and after a long day outdoors Sylvan Lake Lodge is a great location to spend a night or two. Lakes are such serene sites, why not have a look at Stockdale Lake near Stockade Lake; going for a hike on the Paha Sapa Trail is always a great adventure. a delightful local campground; there are splendid places to look at along the Norbeck Trail. This location, the Black Hills, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Visit Bismark Creek since you're here at Stockade Lake, and Stockade
Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. For the period of the days of summer at Stockade Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter the
highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Stockade Lake are in the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful Black Hills.

 | Nice facility. Friendly, helpful staff. We just returned from 3 nights of tent-camping there. Only complaint- 16 hwy was a bit more active at night than we would hope. Again, in a tent, you hear it all. Didn't realize the alternate bathhouse was the one with all the remodel until our last day-very nice!!!!!... |
