This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Rocky Knolls Golf Course; you can go for a hike on the Cathedral Spires Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. A pretty lake like Bismark Lake close to Stockade Lake is a glorious spot to visit; why not camp at Bismark Lake Campground since you're here at Stockade Lake.       Custer Mountain is a peak you can make out from Stockade Lake, and after a long day outdoors Sylvan Lake Lodge is a great location to spend a night or two. Lakes are such serene sites, why not have a look at Stockdale Lake near Stockade Lake; going for a hike on the Paha Sapa Trail is always a great adventure. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Black Hills, not enough time. Visiting Jewel Cave National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't                  yet, and dry warm beds await you at Blue Bell Lodge VA. Stockade Lake gets very little rain; all through June this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the days of summer at Stockade Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Stockade Lake are in the 0's.
