Smith Lake is not far at all from Watertown; a nice place to camp here at Smith Lake is Codington County Memorial Park. So many fun things near Smith Lake, absolutely inspiring. Throughout the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Smith Lake while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. High       temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's; night lows in the-10's for Smith Lake. Smith Lake is generally a reasonably dry place; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and December is the month with the least moisture. A lovely lake like Still Lake near Smith Lake is a great place to stop at, and a tremendous close by hotel is Best Western Ramkota Hotel. This lake is so wonderful.
