The beauty of Sheridan Lake is reason enough to stop by. This place, Sheridan Lake, it truly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Best Western Four Presidents Lodge is a glorious location to get some rest; there's nice hiking along the Horse Thief Lake Trail. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Black Hills. Bluelead Mountain is clearly visible from Sheridan Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Sheridan Lake; Willow Creek

| | - Rushmore Trail is a good local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Sheridan Lake you acquire some wonderful water scenery at Sheridan Lake Dam.
Through the summertime, highs frequently are in the 70's at Sheridan Lake. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 40's. Lodge Mt. Rushmore Memorial; you're sure to encounter some fine folks from Spearfish here. Around Sheridan Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most
while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
North Cove Campground is a magnificent campground nearby; pleasant hiking is available along the Flume Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Sheridan
Lake, you could also pop by picturesque Horse Thief Lake, and unsurprisingly Horse Creek flows through this region. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the Black Hills. Sheridan Lake is a pleasant place
to visit for more than one day, Northside Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and Mount Rushmore National Memorial is one of the destinations that are perfect to stop at nearby.
