Big       Sioux River is a tremendous whitewater spot near Scotts Slough. Summertime at Scotts Slough arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Scotts Slough. Scotts Slough is pretty dried up mostly; through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This                  lake is so wonderful.
