Scarsland Lake gets very little rainfall; throughout June this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. A glorious nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Bowman. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Vessey Lake is close at hand, also Smith Spreader Dam is worth checking out if you're here. For the period of the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Scarsland Lake. Once the sun is down       it plunges down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Scarsland Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. There's so much to do here at Scarsland Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bowman Haley Dam Marina is a great location for that; Bowman-Haley Reservoir is a good lake close by.
