Around Richmond Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you came for an overnight stay Melgaard Park Campground is a splendid place to camp, and if you're a golfer then a nice close by course is Golf & Lee Park Golf Course. After a long day outdoors Best Western Ramkota Hotel is a great       place to spend a night or two, and lots of folks from Aberdeen come here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Aberdeen West Super 8 Motel is a tremendous choice, and you can take a little spree to Richmond Dam since you're here at Richmond Lake. High temperatures at Richmond Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
