For the duration of the summer highs here at Richmond Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Richmond Lake. Richmond Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is June while January is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.       If you came for an overnight stay Melgaard Park Campground is a tremendous place to camp, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Aberdeen here. Aberdeen West Super 8 Motel is a good spot to get some rest, and why not stop by Richmond Dam if you're here. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Ramkota Hotel is a great choice, and for you golfers we recommend close by Golf & Lee Park Golf Course.
