 | Nice facility. Friendly, helpful staff. We just returned from 3 nights of tent-camping there. Only complaint- 16 hwy was a bit more active at night than we would hope. Again, in a tent, you hear it all. Didn't realize the alternate bathhouse was the one with all the remodel until our last day-very nice!!!!!... |
Deerfield Lake Boat Ramp Campground
 | 11 miles away I can only speak about Deerfield lake and it is beautiful. The fishing is also good. Have caught my limit of trout on every visit. It's not crowded at all. A very nice place to get some peace and quiet.... |
Black Fox Campground
 | 18 miles away I spent most every Summer of my youth camping at Black Fox with my dad who is now deceased. It is a very special place for me and holds most of my youthful memories.  | 18 miles away Been here more than I can count. The kids always love feeding the fish (trout ponds). The food is delicious. For a really good time, fish for your dinner. It's guaranteed fresh(you caught it) & they cook it up for you or pack it to go. A really nice campground with nice people running it. Very Clean....Excellent Campsite! Highly recommended and they even have onsite breakfast, lunch and dinner available on a cabin like cafe sitting on their own little pond. Very quiet and peaceful setting even during the Rally (as quiet as you can expect :)) ... |
