If you are in this part of South Dakota make sure to pay a visit to Red Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Spearfish Travelodge, and if you're a golfer then a brilliant nearby course is Lead Country Club. Red Lake is frequently a relatively arid spot; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area in the vicinity of Red Lake has to offer. While you're here at Red Lake it's a fine idea to check out Tollgate Flats; Iron Creek Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. And that's not all you can do here at Red Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Black Hills.
Visit Deer Creek if you're here at Red Lake; magnificent skiing awaits you at Terry Peak. Be careful coming to the Black Hills, you might not ever want to return home again. Put
some time aside to spend at Roughlock Falls since you're here at Red Lake, and camping at Rod and Gun Campground is always a splendid experience. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Spearfish-Northern Black Hills is a fine choice,
and a good location to camp here at Red Lake is Timon Campground.
Paddling on Spearfish Creek is so much fun, and a fine location to explore is Breakneck Gulch. The warmest time of the year at Red Lake arrives with high temperatures
in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Red Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. That right there is heaps of entertaining stuff already
but it goes on, the Black Hills has it all. Iron Creek Dam has pleasant water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Red Lake, and wonderful hiking is available along the Rim Rock Trail.
