Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Black Hills rules! There are some good whitewater spots on Spearfish Creek, and why not camp at Timon Campground since you're here at Red Lake. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Black Hills. A magnificent place next to Red Lake is Breakneck Gulch, and since you might be in a lake       visiting mood you can always explore nearby Iron Creek Lake. Red Lake gets very little precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain while January is frequently the driest month. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll adore Red Lake. While you're here at Red Lake you can take a hike along the Pettigrew Trail; a round of golf at nearby Lead Country Club is a magnificent way to kill some time. Holiday Inn Spearfish-Northern Black Hills is                  a great site to get some rest, and a great site to camp here at Red Lake is Rod and Gun Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Tollgate Flats is a wonderful site, and not far from Red Lake you'll locate Dry Lake which is a gorgeous lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Black Hills has to offer. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Iron Creek Trail, and why not a little side visit to Deer Creek. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Terry Peak, and the smiling people of Spearfish like to hang out close by. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Red Lake without first paying a visit to Roughlock Falls, and at Iron Creek Dam next to Red Lake there are some interesting things to see. For the period of the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Red Lake while night lows are frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Red Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is located in the wonderful Black Hills. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.
