Lake of the Pines is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not take a look at Bismark Lake near Lake of the Pines; if you need a site to stay Custer Days Inn is a good choice. Custer Mountain is gorgeous and can be seen from Lake of the Pines; a pleasant location to camp here at Lake of the Pines is Broken Arrow Campground. It is very arid here at Lake of the Pines

Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Black Hills is unbeatable! Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake of the Pines; Cathedral Spires Trail is a magnificent local trail, and if you have the time,
Jewel Cave National Monument is a national park worth going to. For the period of the days of summer at Lake of the Pines temperatures are generally in the 80's; the night is quite chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Highs
during the winter are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Lake of the Pines dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This lake is one of the great places here in the Black Hills.
You just can't imagine the amount of
outdoors fun stuff the Black Hills has to offer. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Haselrodt Spring, and glorious hiking is available along the Paha Sapa Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stockade Lake is a delightful lake close to Lake of the Pines, and the Sunday Gulch Trail offers hiking at its best.
