     Yeah, come up here to the Black Hills for a tremendous time. Haselrodt Spring is a beautiful place to check out while you're at Lake of the Pines. There's so much to do here at Lake of the Pines that you need to camp here for a while, Broken Arrow Campground is a magnificent spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Sunday Gulch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and swing by Glen Erin Creek it's a good place  
   to take a look at.
This lake is so wonderful. Jewel Cave National Monument is a very wonderful location to go to in the neighborhood of Lake of the Pines, and a round of golf at nearby Rocky Knolls Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you need a place to stay State Game Lodge is a perfect choice. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake of the Pines has to offer, you
 
               can camp at French Creek Ranch B&b. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Black Hills will keep you coming back persistently. The summit of Custer Mountain can be made out from Lake of the Pines, and a wonderful close by hotel is Days Inn Custer.
Lake of the Pines is one of the lakes here in the Black Hills. You'll discover a pretty lake called Stockade Lake near Lake of the Pines, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Cathedral Spires Trail. Lake of the Pines is ordinarily a quite dry place; June is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake of the Pines. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's while Lake of the Pines nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's. Do take a look at Stockdale Lake in close proximity to Lake of the Pines, it's a beautiful lake, and hiking along the Paha Sapa Trail is brilliant fun.

Nice facility. Friendly, helpful staff. We just returned from 3 nights of tent-camping there. Only complaint- 16 hwy was a bit more active at night than we would hope. Again, in a tent, you hear it all.  Didn't realize the alternate bathhouse was the one with all the remodel until our last day-very nice!!!!!...
