Swan Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out, and Phragmites Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Bur-oak Lodge is a glorious local campground. Phragmites Pond is pretty dried up regularly; through the month of June you get the most rain around here while December is frequently the driest month. Through the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 80's at Phragmites Pond with overnight lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs

Camping at Roy Kota Resort is always a magnificent experience, and Wingate Arm is rather close.
