Lake Oakwood gets very little rain; most of the rain falls through June; December meanwhile is the driest month. A fine spot to camp here at Lake Oakwood is Arlington Beach Resort, and Days Inn Brookings is a great site to get some rest. Lake Oakwood is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lynmar Resort and Campgrounds is a great local campground, and Lake Oakwood is not the       only site nearby, Oakwood Lakes is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Oakwood you will meet lots of folks from nearby Brookings; if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Brookings is a wonderful choice. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Lake Oakwood get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
