The beauty of Norbeck Lake is reason enough to stop by. At Norbeck Lake you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is January. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Black Hills. Rifle Pit Campground is a glorious campground nearby, and if you fancy a little side visit, try Curley Canyon. time of year, and tremendous hiking is available along the Paha Sapa Trail. Through the days of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Norbeck Lake; the night is a tad colder of course, frequently in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are typically in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Norbeck Lake are in the 0's.
