This lake is located in the wonderful Black Hills. Hiking along the Iron Creek Trail is brilliant fun; a great site to have a look at is Bee Draw. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Caledonia Condos is a nice place to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Rim Rock Trail. Now, you may       think that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Black Hills. Camping is available at Black Fox Campground, and obviously, this is a magnificent vicinity for people who like lakes, Crooks Lake is a lake close at hand. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. Put some time aside to spend at Mix Spring since you're here at Mud Lake, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Terry                  Peak if you're here. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Black Hills rocks! There are plenty of people from Spearfish here at Mud Lake. Lakes are pleasant; Clayton Pond is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Mud Lake. Black Hills Inn & Suites is a brilliant site to get some rest, and going for a hike along the Pettigrew Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at White Tail Peak Campground while you're here at Mud Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Spearfish Creek. During the long summer days here at Mud Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
