Mud Lake is one of the lakes here in the Black Hills. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is bountiful here in the Black Hills. Deadwood Super 8 Motel is a tremendous place to get some rest, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Iron Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Mix Spring is a beautiful spot to have a look at while you're at Mud Lake; the Rim Rock Trail offers hiking at its best.       High temperatures at Mud Lake during the long summer days are in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, typically in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 0's for Mud Lake. Glide down the rapids of Spearfish Creek in a kayak, and as expected, A trip to Bee Draw is always fun. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Black Hills Inn & Suites, and you'll never forgive yourself                  if you don’t go skiing at Terry Peak since you're here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Mud Lake. Take a hike on the Pettigrew Trail; a picturesque lake like Clayton Pond is a great site to stop by. You're sure to come across some cheerful people from Spearfish here; White Tail Peak Campground is a good campground nearby. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Black Hills. Crooks Lake is a delightful lake right next door to Mud Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Black Fox Campground is a splendid site to camp.
