This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Lakeshore Golf & Rv Resort is a good location to do that; a great close by hotel is Bilmar Inn and Suites. This is a popular place for folks from Brookings. Comfort Inn Brookings is a fine location to get some rest; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Anderson Slough. Summertime highs at Mud Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's while       overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Mud Lake. It is very dried up here at Mud Lake usually; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is January. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, River Of The Double Bend Camp is a splendid site for that.
