I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Mitchell Lake. Nearby China Gulch is a great site to go if you're at Mitchell Lake; if you need a site to stay Best Western Golden Spike Inn & Suites is a nice choice. You don’t have to go far from Mitchell Lake to catch a sight of the water at Mitchell Lake Dam; do check out Horse Thief Lake, it's a pretty lake. So much enjoyable stuff in the Black Hills, just mind-blowing. Jewel Cave National Monument

Mitchell Lake is a good location of common precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. in the Black Hills. After a long day outdoors The Lodge at Palmer Gulch is a great site to spend a night or two, and going for a hike along the Willow Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. And that's
not all there is to do here in the Black Hills. A delightful location to camp here at Mitchell Lake is Crooked Creek Resort; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Sylvan Lake Harney Trail. This lake is so
wonderful. Camping is available at Three Forks Campground, and a beautiful lake like Major Lake is a brilliant place to have a look at.

Deerfield Lake Boat Ramp Campground
 | 17 miles away I can only speak about Deerfield lake and it is beautiful. The fishing is also good. Have caught my limit of trout on every visit. It's not crowded at all. A very nice place to get some peace and quiet.... |
