If you came for an overnight stay Codington County Memorial Park is a great site to camp, and camping at Medicine Lake is delightful fun, Prop is a delightful local campground. Medicine Lake is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is December. Summer at Medicine Lake comes with high temperatures       in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Medicine Lake. Dakota Sioux Casino & Hotel is a wonderful site to get some rest, and Medicine Lake is not the only location close by, Cooley Lake is a close by lake.
