If you are traveling by, why not stop by Major Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a visit to Jewel Cave National Monument since you're here at Major Lake; Bishop Mountain is a peak you can see from Major Lake. Summertime at Major Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Major
