Not far from Lost Lake, you'll find Rehfeldt Slough which is a stunning lake, and a tremendous place to camp here at Lost Lake is Kamp Dakota. Lost Lake gets very little precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Kozy Korner Motel is a glorious choice; the fine folks of Sioux       Falls like to hang out close by. Camping is available at Battle Creek Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Town N Country. During the warmest time of the year at Lost Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's.
