During the summertime highs here at Long Lake reach the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Long Lake. If you need a location to stay Americinn Madison is a delightful choice, and Long Lake is a tremendous place to camp, Kamp Dakota is a tremendous place. If you're here at Long Lake,       you could stop at Negro Creek; Madison Mobile Acres is a great campground here. Long Lake gets very little rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Taking a little journey to close by Fishers Point is a good idea, needless to say you could also explore Lake Madison if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Americ Inn is a splendid                  place to spend a night or two, and in the neighborhood of Long Lake you hit upon a golf course called The Lakes Golf Course.
