Why not stop by Larive Lake if you're passing through these parts. Around Larive Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Paha Sapa Trail is always a perfect adventure. There's so much to do here at Larive Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Larive Lake Resort is a fine place for that. The summit of Battle Mountain can be spotted from Larive Lake, and Jewel Cave National Monument is a great place close by. Near Larive Lake you locate the Norbeck Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and enjoy a round of
golf at Southern Hills Golf Course.
Summertime highs at Larive Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's;
