King Dam is a lake worth visiting. It is very waterless here at King Dam usually; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Winner, Sd, and you're probably into lakes, Covey Dam is one of those close by. Through the long summer days at King Dam highs are mostly in the 90's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. Daytime

| | highs throughout the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at King Dam are in the 0's. If you came to camp Kennebeck KOA is a good location to do that, and naturally, this is a splendid vicinity for folks who like lakes, Linker Dam Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity. Rodeway Inn & Suites Winner is a perfect place to get some rest. King Dam is not far at all from King Dam; camping at Kennebec Koa Kampgrounds is always a good experience.
