Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Black Hills. Deer Creek is a striking stream that is worth checking out; hey, Gotta ski right? Terry Peak is a perfect site to do that. For the period of the warm months at Iron Creek Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs       in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Iron Creek Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Spearfish Travelodge, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not check out Dry Lake. Don't leave Iron Creek Lake without first paying a visit to Jay Spring, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Spearfish Creek. Good hiking is available along the Iron Creek Trail, and Tollgate Flats is a great location to stretch your                  legs a bit. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Iron Creek Lake. Lots of people from Spearfish come to Iron Creek Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Black Hills. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Black Hills is great! Don't leave Iron Creek Lake without first going for a hike along the Rim Rock Trail, and you could always discover Pettigrew Gulch. Camping at Rod and Gun Campground is always a magnificent experience; if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Spearfish-Northern Black Hills is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's tremendous hiking along the Pettigrew Trail, and a perfect place to camp here at Iron Creek Lake is Timon Campground. Be careful coming to Iron Creek Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. There are other locations here than Iron Creek Lake, for example Red Lake, and why not have a look at Iron Creek Dam while you're here.
