Big Sioux River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Camping is available at Red Barn Campground, and Central Valley Golf Course is a fine golf course close by. At Fensterman Slough during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Fensterman Slough.
