Not much rain falls here at Ethan Lake; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest of the months is January. A perfect spot to camp here at Ethan Lake is Parkston-rainbow Motel, and if you need a spot to stay Hampton Inn is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Ethan Dam is not far at all from Ethan Lake, and Ethan Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at,       Lake Mitchell Campgrounds is a pleasant local campground. While you're here at Ethan Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Mitchell, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a good place to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Ethan Lake during the long summer days are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's.
