Why not camp at Bur-oak Lodge while you're here at Cottonwood Lake, and not far from Cottonwood Lake you'll hit upon Little Cottonwood Lake which is a charming lake. Cottonwood Lake is pretty arid generally; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is December. Camping is available at Roy Kota Resort. Lakes? | | Sisseton is a great choice. Summertime highs at Cottonwood Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are usually in the 10's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Cottonwood Lake temperatures sink to the-10's. | |
