If you like lakes and you're in this part of South Dakota you can check out Clayton Pond. Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do in the Black Hills. Have a great hiking adventure along the Pettigrew Trail, and Holiday Inn Spearfish-Northern Black Hills is a perfect spot to get some rest. You clearly ought to adore the Black Hills. After a long day outdoors Spearfish Travelodge is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and Hanna Campground is a delightful campground

| | here. Around Clayton Pond you don’t get a lot of rain; through June this area sees the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. Clayton Pond is right by the Rim Rock Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Terry Peak is reasonably near. Clayton Pond is one of the lakes here in the Black Hills. This lake is so wonderful. If you're visiting Clayton Pond from Spearfish, you won't be the only one. High temperatures at Clayton
Pond all through the days of summer are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Clayton Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
Clayton Pond in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Get wet paddling on Spearfish Creek, and a round of golf at nearby Lead Country Club is a good way to kill some time.
