This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Norbeck Trail; Sylvan Lake Lodge VA is a nice place to get some rest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Black Hills. If you're here, you might as well stop at Potato Gulch, and you can stay the night at West French Creek Primitive Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Little Squaw Creek is a stream that you may come across while you're here,       and if you need a site to stay Blue Bell Lodge is a wonderful choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Black Hills. And that's not all you can do here at Center Lake. Go for a hike on the Iron Creek Trail; Lakota Lake is a good lake close by. It is very dried out here at Center Lake generally; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Center Lake is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Center                  Lake Campgrounds is a wonderful location to camp nearby, and you can take a little tour to Center Lake Dam while you're here at Center Lake. While you're here at Center Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Spearfish. Lakes? Sure, Center Lake is nearby. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Black Hills. Don't leave Center Lake without first going for a hike along the Iron Mountain Trail, and a journey to Mount Rushmore National Memorial is worthwhile. At Center Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's.
