Camping is available at Center Lake Campgrounds, and lots of folks from Spearfish come here. If you need a location to stay Sylvan Lake Lodge VA is a great choice, and why not camp at West French Creek Primitive Campground if you're here at Center Lake. | | for a fine spree? Mount Rushmore National Memorial is relatively near Center Lake, and the scenery at Center Lake Dam is wonderful.
The Black Hills scenery is always beautiful. Center Lake gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.

on the Iron Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Center Lake without first going for a hike along the Norbeck Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Blue Bell Lodge. Man, is there a heap of cool things to do close
to Center Lake. Looking for some flowing water? Try Little Squaw Creek, and going for a hike on the Iron Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure.
At Center Lake all through the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and the
night is quite cooler of course, typically in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Center Lake tend to be in the 0's.
