A visit to Canyon Lake is always a good idea. This lake is one of the great places here in the Black Hills. For the period of the warm days of summer at Canyon Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, typically in the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Canyon Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Cleghorn Canyon is a good site to stop

| | by close by; going for a hike on the Flume Trail is always a glorious adventure.
All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Black Hills will keep you coming back over and over. You're probably addicted to lakes, Red Dale Gulch Reservoir is one of those nearby, and Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a nice national park. a tremendous local campground. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. Don't leave Canyon Lake without first going for a hike along the Iron Mountain Trail, and if you came to camp Lake Park
Campground is a pleasant location to do that.
It is very waterless here at Canyon Lake frequently; during the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. You can take
a little visit to Canyon Lake Dam while you're here at Canyon Lake, and there are magnificent spots to discover along the Iron Creek Trail.
Yeah, come up here to the Black Hills for a pleasant time. A round of golf at nearby Meadowbrook
Golf Course is a nice way to kill some time, and if you need a spot to stay Garden Cottages Motel is a great choice.
