What a nice lake Bismark Lake is. Blue Bell Lodge VA is a tremendous place to get some rest, and the summit of Custer Mountain can be made out from Bismark Lake. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Bismark Lake is so good! There's great hiking along the Paha Sapa Trail, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Stockade Lake is just a very short distance away. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Black Hills. Why not take

| | a refreshing hike along the Norbeck Trail, and swing by Bismark Creek it's a fine location to go to. Summertime at Bismark Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Bismark Lake dip into the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful Black Hills. if you came for an overnight stay Bismark Lake Campground is a perfect site to camp. All year is a wonderful time in the Black Hills if you love the outdoors. Jewel Cave National Monument is a very wonderful location to stop by near
Bismark Lake, and a splendid close by hotel is Sylvan Lake Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little tour to Bismark Lake Dam while you're here at Bismark Lake, and the Cathedral Spires Trail offers hiking at its best.
It is very dried up here at Bismark Lake typically; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is January.

 | Nice facility. Friendly, helpful staff. We just returned from 3 nights of tent-camping there. Only complaint- 16 hwy was a bit more active at night than we would hope. Again, in a tent, you hear it all. Didn't realize the alternate bathhouse was the one with all the remodel until our last day-very nice!!!!!... |
