This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Badlands Budget Host is a glorious site to spend a night or two. Not much rainfall falls here at Alkali Lake; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. Do have a look at Hoover Lake in close proximity to Alkali Lake,       it's a stunning lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Otis Motel and Trailer Court is a good place to camp. Throughout the summer here at Alkali Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's.
