There's so much to do here at Zimmerman Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Ridge Campground is a great place for that, and a pretty lake like Lake Zimmerman is a fine location to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Croft state Natural Area, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on North       Tyger River. You'll discover a beautiful lake called Lyles Brothers Lake near Zimmerman Pond; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like The Creek Golf Club. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Zimmerman Pond. Marriott Spartanburg Renaissance Park is a good spot to get some rest, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Spartanburg here.
