Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Savannah River, and a lake nearby is Simons Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail; if you came to camp Betty's RV and Trailer Court is a great location to do that. This lake is so wonderful.       It's a glorious idea to check out Red Hill Branch, it's in the vicinity of Woodwards Lake, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Mount Vintage Plantation Golf Club is close by. While you're here at Woodwards Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Augusta-Richmond County, and if you need a place to stay Sleep Inn & Suites is a great choice. So much exciting stuff to do here at Woodwards Lake, too wonderful to be true. Simons Lake is                  a nearby lake that you could go to, and a tremendous close by hotel is Deluxe Inn. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Woodwards Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Woodwards Lake.
