If you are in Anderson county it's always a good idea to stop by Woodson Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Springwood RV Park is a perfect place to do that, and Lakeside Lake is a glorious lake close by. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Saluda River, and there are other places here than Woodson Pond, for example Freemans Lake. | | pleasant place for that, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Piedmont/Greenville Area is a good spot to spend a night or two.
If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Greenville I-85@Augusta Road is a splendid choice, and Woodson Pond is a place with many visitors from Greenville.
