Wises Pond is not the only place nearby, Fricks Pond is a nearby lake, and golf can be played at Indian Trail Golf Course. You'll meet a lot of folks from Newberry here. There's so much to do here at Wises Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Kinard is a wonderful site for that. What a site this is for outdoors folks. If you need a spot to       stay Quality Inn Aiken is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Wises Pond, you could also have a look at close by J A Holmes Pond, and if you came to camp Cedar Pond Campground is a delightful location to do that. Wises Pond gets lots of water; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is November. Through the long summer days here at Wises Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 90's, and the night is                  a bit cooler of course, frequently in the 60's.
