Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Winters Pond get into the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Winters Pond are in the 20's. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Saluda River, and Super 8 Motel - Columbia is a glorious spot to get some rest. Winters Pond regularly       gets lots of rain; March is when you get the most rain here; November on the other hand is the driest. Winters Pond in fact is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. If you're here at Winters Pond and you like golf, you can check out Linrick Golf Course; dry warm beds await you at American Inn. If time allows, Congaree Swamp National Monument is a national park worth stopping at. Why not take a look at nearby Crane Creek since you're here at Winters                  Pond. There's so much to do here at Winters Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sesquicentennial State Park is a delightful place for that. Here at Winters Pond there are plenty of people from Columbia, and you can stay the night at Capital City Campground. This lake is so wonderful.
