In South Carolina there are many beautiful lakes, Wingos Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Winding Stairs Trail, and camping at High Falls Park is always a great experience. Seneca-Days Inn Clemson is a magnificent place to get some rest. While you're here at Wingos Lake, you could also stop at beautiful Webb Lake, and a good close by hotel is Best Western Executive Inn.

Creek offers some splendid whitewater.
Not far from Wingos Lake you acquire some great water scenery at Little River Dam, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Lake Keowee. There's brilliant hiking along the Foothills Trail,
and Oconee Country Club is a perfect golf course close by. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Wingos Lake; the night is quite chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets
highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Wingos Lake.
Looking for some flowing water? Try Cane Creek, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Coneross Creek.
