There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Willis Pond. Willis Pond is a good location to visit for more than one day, Bethelwoods Camp & Conference is a good location to camp nearby. Summertime highs at Willis Pond generally tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, generally in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 50's while Willis Pond night low       temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Near Willis Pond you hit upon a golf course called Carolina Crossing Golf Club; there are plenty of people from Chester here at Willis Pond. Stay the night at Ebenezer Park, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn-York is a nice place to spend a night or two. You're almost certainly into lakes, Mirror Lake is one of those close by, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Catawba                  River - South Fork. Willis Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. This is a wonderful region for people who like lakes.
