Wienges Lake gets much water; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Lakes are such serene spots, why not visit Whetstone Pond near Wienges Lake, and lots of folks from Orangeburg come here. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you need a place to stay Fairfield Inn By Marriott Orangeburg is       a wonderful choice, and a delightful place to camp here at Wienges Lake is Wheat water Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Sykes Pond in close proximity to Wienges Lake is a great location to check out; dropping by Congaree Swamp National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Summertime highs at Wienges Lake commonly tend to be in the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the 70's. All through the winter                  highs are typically in the 50's, and overnight lows at Wienges Lake throughout the winter usually descend into the 30's. Take a side tour to Antley Spring Branch, and Wienges Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Mountaineer Motel is a perfect local campground.
