This lake is so wonderful. This place, Widow Lake, it truly has so much outdoors fun stuff. You'll meet a lot of people from Dillon       here, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Pineland Country Club. Boggy Branch flows through this vicinity, and you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Anderson Lake is one of those nearby. Widow Lake gets a good deal of water; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Big Sand Hills is clearly visible from Widow Lake. You'll need more than a day to                  explore everything Widow Lake has to offer, you can camp at South of the Border - Camp Pedro. This lake is so wonderful. Widow Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Little Pee Dee State Park is a good spot to camp nearby, and The Decanter Inn is a fine spot to get some rest. High temperatures at Widow Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's.
