The high level of rain makes Widow Lake a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is July while November is typically the driest month. Widow Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Little Pee Dee State Park is a magnificent local campground, and a glorious nearby hotel is The Decanter Inn. People from Dillon love to come to Widow Lake, and not far from Widow Lake you'll come       across Anderson Lake which is a striking lake. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Widow Lake. Boggy Branch is a beautiful stream that is worth taking a look at, and Websters Manor is a perfect location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to pop by Rice Field Cove since you're here at Widow Lake; stop by nearby Back Swamp. For the period of the summer months, highs ordinarily are                  in the 90's at Widow Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Widow Lake.
