Whitlock Lakes is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain while April is usually the driest month. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area next to Whitlock Lakes has to offer. Why not camp at Rose Hill Plantation       state Historic Site while you're here at Whitlock Lakes, and a pleasant close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express GAFFNEY OUTLET MALL I-85. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby White Pines Lake, and get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Lawsons Fork Creek. Lakes are pleasant; White Pines Lake is a lake that's close to Whitlock Lakes, and Super 8 Gaffney is a fine place to get some rest.                  You're sure to run into some smiling folks from Union here, and a tremendous site for whitewater paddling is Pacolet. The warmest time of the year at Whitlock Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's.
