This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Winding Stairs Trail is pleasant fun. There's so much to do here at Whitewater Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Oconee Station state Historic Site is
a good location for that, and if you need a place to stay Jameson Inn Seneca is a glorious choice. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Whitewater Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Whitewater Lake.
