This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Whitewater Lake, you could also visit close by Rochester Lake Number Two, and if the weather is pretty, you get a pleasant vista of Tommys Knob from Whitewater Lake. If you're here at Whitewater Lake, you could go to Barbecue Branch; there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Foothills Trail. Summertime       brings highs in the 70's to Whitewater Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Whitewater Lake. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Executive Inn is a delightful choice, and camping at Oconee Station state Historic Site is always a fine experience. Whitewater Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; March is when you get the                  most rain here, and April is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Devils Fork State Park is a delightful local campground. While you're here at Whitewater Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Seneca, and if you come at the right time of year, Little River - North Fork offers some perfect whitewater. If you go for the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Whitewater Lake.
