Many people like to go to Whitewater Lake. A pleasant close by hotel is Walhalla Motel; Little River - North Fork has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Tommys Knob is a peak you can see from Whitewater Lake, and lots of people from Seneca come here.

| | Shoal River. This is a good area for people who like lakes. Browns Lake is a lake close by, and if you came for an overnight stay Devils Fork State Park is a tremendous location to camp. A large amount of rain falls at Whitewater Lake; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here; April meanwhile is the driest month.

Lake you can take a hike along the Foothills Trail, and camping at Whitewater Lake is great fun, Oconee Station state Historic Site is a great local campground.
