This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Columbia/camden RV Park is a pleasant place to do that, and Travel Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. High temperatures at White Pond through the summer months are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at White Pond.       So many enjoyable things to do at White Pond, so little time. During your trip to White Pond you'll meet some folks from Columbia for sure. There's so much to do here at White Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Bethel Campground is a nice place for that. Visiting Congaree Swamp National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and a good close by hotel is Economy Inn. You'll locate a charming lake called Cooks Pond near White                  Pond, and if you're a golfer then a fine close by course is Green Hill Golf Club.
