At White Pines Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, mostly in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at White Pines Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. A good close by hotel is Super 8 Gaffney; White Pines Lake is a brilliant lake close by. This lake is       so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Lawsons Fork Creek in a kayak, and you can stay the night at Rose Hill Plantation state Historic Site. If you come at the right time of year, Pacolet offers some wonderful whitewater. There's so much to do here at White Pines Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Croft state Natural Area is a nice place for that. Lakes are such serene places, why not explore Whitlock Lakes close to White Pines Lake, and if you need                  a place to stay Holiday Inn Express GAFFNEY OUTLET MALL I-85 is a glorious choice. White Pines Lake is a relatively wet place usually with much rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is April. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! White Pines Lake is so good!
